Kim Ye-rim, or Yeri from Red Velvet, is officially hitting the big screen! She’s starring in this mystery horror movie called Next, and it sounds super intense. Yeri’s character, Park Ja-young, is the class president who gets caught up in a séance while searching for her missing sister. Things get pretty creepy when strange stuff starts happening, and she has to save her classmates.
Yeri said she’s always been into horror, so she’s really excited and nervous about this role, especially since it’s her first movie ever!
It’s directed by Son Dong-wan, a rising name in horror genre who’s done some cool short films such as ‘Cabinet’ and ‘I Heard You‘.
The filming for the movie started on September 9. Can’t wait to see Yeri in action!
