She’s a Shaman. He’s Cursed. Can Love Break the Clock in This New K-Drama?

Welcome to the emotional rollercoaster that is Head Over Heels, the new upcoming Kdrama that’s already snatching hearts with its freshly dropped trailer. We’re talking first love, life-or-death stakes, chaotic shamanic interventions, and yes… a guy literally walking upside down.

If you haven’t hit “play” on this trailer yet, prepare for feels, laughter, and possibly yelling at your screen.

Archery, Butterflies, and Bad Omens

It all starts with Seong A (played by the always expressive Cho Yi Hyun, can you believe Cho Yi Hyun’s age is just 24 and she’s already a powerhouse?) watching her crush, Gyeon U, flex those bow-and-arrow skills. Cue the swoon. “He’s so cool,” she whispers like every drama girl with a soft spot for the strong, silent type.

But just as things start feeling dreamy, reality smacks us in the face. Seong A drops a line that sends chills: “People who walk upside down are people who will die soon because of bad luck.” And BAM, Gyeon U strolls into her shaman temple, upside down. Literal nightmare fuel.

21 Days, One Curse, and Zero Chill

Turns out, Gyeon U isn’t just cursed, he’s got a countdown. 21 days left to live. And now, Seong A’s goal is clear: save him, no matter what. “I’ll save you,” she declares, eyes full of determination (and let’s be honest, a little romantic tension).

But here’s the catch, Gyeon U has no idea Seong A is a shaman. At school, she’s just a normal girl with weird vibes and great hair. So when she tackles him to stop a falling sign or soaks him while exorcising a water spirit, he’s left blinking like, “Why is this girl attacking me… with love?

Human Talisman Mode: Activated

Seong A decides if she can’t tell him the truth, she’ll protect him her own way. Her genius idea? Become his walking, talking “human talisman.”

Basically, the closer she is to him, the safer he’ll be from all the creepy spirits lurking around. So what does she do? Grabs his hand. Jumps into his arms. Follows him around like a guardian angel in sneakers.

Gyeon U? Completely flustered. Us? Absolutely living for it.

Feelings, Flirting, and the One Thing She Does Want

In a rare quiet moment, Seong A finally drops the act and opens up. “I don’t want to fool you either. The only thing I want to do with you is love you.”

And just when our hearts are melting like K-drama ramen, a nosy client at her shaman gig ruins the mood by asking the most savage question ever:

“You’ve never dated before, right? You’ve always been single?”

Oof. Somebody hand her a tissue and a comeback.
