Have you heard about the new K-Drama What Comes After Love?
It’s coming out on September 27, 2024, on Coupang Play, and it looks like it’s going to hit us right in the feels! It stars Lee Se Young as Choi Hong, a Korean student in Japan, and Sakaguchi Kentaro as Aoki Jungo, a Japanese guy.
The story starts with them falling head over heels for each other while studying abroad. But, of course, life gets in the way. They break up because of different views on love and all those real-life problems. Fast forward five years, and they bump into each other again, but this time in Korea. So now they’ve got to deal with all those leftover feelings. It’s all about growing, forgiving, and figuring out if love really lasts.
It’s based on a novel called Sarang Hooae Oneun Geoddeul by Kong Ji-Young and Hitonari Tsuji. So you know it’s going to dig deep into the whole cultural and emotional side of love. Plus, it’s directed by Moon Hyun-Sung, so you can expect some seriously touching moments.
Can’t wait to see how Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro bring their characters to life. This isn’t just a cute romance—it’s got heartache, personal growth, and all those complicated feelings that come with real love. It’s definitely one to watch if you love stories about second chances and tough relationships!
