What If Falling in Love Wasn’t a Choice?
Okay, imagine this: one day, you wake up and suddenly, you’re madly in love with everyone and everything around you, your neighbor, your coffee cup, even that weird plant in the corner of your office. Sounds insane, right? Well, that’s exactly what happens to Bae Doona in her upcoming new Korean movie 2025, Virus, and the trailer is pure chaos (in the best way possible!).

Meet Taek-seon: The Woman Who Can’t Stop Falling in Love

In Virus, Bae Doona plays Ok Taek-seon, a translator who’s pretty much over life. She’s lost her spark, her sense of humor, and let’s be honest, she’s not exactly excited about love either. But then, she gets infected with something called the Toxo Virus, and boom, she can’t stop falling head over heels for literally everyone she meets.
The trailer is packed with hilarious moments, one second she’s serious and detached, the next she’s giggling and throwing heart eyes at complete strangers. You can almost feel her confusion, and honestly, wouldn’t we all be freaked out if this happened?
Enter the Three (Very Different) Men in Her Life
Of course, what’s a romantic comedy without a few love interests? And Virus delivers with an all-star lineup:

Nam Su-pil (Son Suk-ku) – A researcher who meets Taek-seon on a blind date and immediately realizes something’s off. He’s intrigued, slightly concerned, but totally invested in figuring out what’s happening to her.

Kim Yeon-woo (Jang Ki-ha) – Taek-seon’s childhood friend, now a car dealer, who watches in disbelief as she suddenly becomes way too affectionate. His reactions in the trailer are priceless!

Lee Gyun (Kim Yun-seok) – The only scientist who knows what’s really going on. He explains that Taek-seon’s symptoms aren’t just random, she’s got a super antibody that might be the key to curing the virus. No pressure, right?
Romance, Laughter & Just the Right Amount of Chaos
The trailer gives us a sneak peek into the madness that unfolds, random love confessions, awkward moments, and Taek-seon struggling to figure out if her feelings are real or just a side effect of the virus. It’s the perfect mix of humor, romance, and a little bit of sci-fi weirdness.
Visually, it’s fun and colorful, with little heart-shaped details subtly appearing in different scenes (like in mirrors and streetlights). It almost feels like we’re seeing the world through Taek-seon’s virus-infected eyes!
