Hey, did you hear the buzz about Leonardo DiCaprio being in Squid Game Season 3? Yeah, it’s not happening. Netflix just shut it down, saying, “The rumors are completely false.”
Apparently, a South Korean news outlet started the whole thing, claiming Leo secretly filmed a cameo in 2024. Fans got super hyped. I mean, imagine Leo in the Squid Game universe, how wild would that be?
The rumor wasn’t totally out of nowhere, though. Back in 2022, the show’s creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, said he’d love to cast Hollywood stars. And remember that viral pic of Leo with Lee Jung-jae? Yeah, that definitely added fuel to the fire.
But Netflix made it clear: no DiCaprio cameo in Season 3. Sad, right? Still, I’m so excited about what’s coming next. The Squid game season 3 promises more of that intense, heart-pounding survival drama we all love.
